Dhyan (Meditation) is to gather all our energies which are wasted in thought and to use that energy to empty the consciousness from its content. Where there is empty space, the energy can be experienced. All belief, perception, fear, anxiety, worries etc. are emptied in the process of mindfulness (meditation). Thoughts are the response of memory. Memory functions with respect to time. If one can understand the concept of psychological time and do away with it then the memory will be free from thoughts. One shall remain in present and accept ‘What Is’.
